I received my B.A. in Math and English (with a minor in creative writing!) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009, received my M.A. in Computer Science from Brandeis University in 2014, and then worked at Baylor College of Medicine until 2019 as a programmer and analyst studying extracellular RNAs. I'm interested in developing and applying new computational methods to better understand human health and disease. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to music, playing video games, and hanging out with my wife and our two cats.
