Bio/Description

Profile

Prof. Calhoun earned her B. S. in Chemistry from Iowa State University and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.  She went on to become a Lewis-Sigler Fellow at Princeton University before joining the faculty in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville as an Assistant Professor in 2013.  Her research focuses on using ultrafast laser technology to advance nonlinear microscopies in order to image drug-membrane interactions.
