I attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn for my undergraduate, receiving a B.S. in Biological Sciences, and minors in Chemistry, History, and Physics. While there, I worked on a number of projects under the wing of Dr. Emily Saarinen spanning the realms of conservation biology, molecular ecology, genetics, and bioinformatics, which have now led me to pursue research interests in evolutionary and conservation biology at the genetic level, particularly involving Lepidopterans.
