Olenka Jain Position Graduate Student Title Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics Email [email protected] Bio/Description I graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in Physics. During my time at Harvard, I worked on a model to explain the timing of oscillations of the spindle during the first division in C. elegans. I also worked on photo-activation experiments to probe the dynamics of spindle/kinetochore bound microtubules. I hope to continue using physics to understand various biological processes, especially those concerning self organization and assembly. In my free time I enjoy climbing, playing squash, and birdwatching. Related News Graduate Students Awarded NSF GRFP Adviser Stanislav Y.
