Masha Larina Position Graduate Student Title Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics Email [email protected] Bio/Description Hi! I graduated from UT Austin in 2023 with a BS in Computer Science and a BA in Rhetoric & Writing. During that time, I worked at Baylor College of Medicine engineering algorithms to identify and characterize the salient parts of spatial transcriptomics data. Moreover, I worked for the National AI Institute for Foundations of Machine Learning, where I processed deep mutational scanning data to build machine learning models for protein engineering. I am broadly interested in developing novel computational methodologies for modeling, analyzing, and interpreting biological datasets. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, solving crossword puzzles, and playing tabletop games and video games.
