Specifically, we study how proteins partition between nucleus and cytoplasm and how different nuclear composition affects cellular function. To address these questions, we develop and employ quantitative proteomics in combination with computational, biochemical and imaging approaches.Google Scholar Program(s) Biophysics Graduate Program NIH NHGRI Training Program QCB Graduate Program Research Area Biophysics: Theory and Experiment Systems Biology: Development/Aging Systems Biology: Metabolomics/Proteomics LSI Research Lab Wühr Research Lab
