Bio/Description

I graduated from UT Austin with a degree in physics. I'm excited by dynamics on the cellular and microbial scale where small lives interact, and I look forward to pursuing this interest at Princeton! At UT, I worked in Dr. Vernita Gordon’s lab using particle tracking microrheology and microscopy to help uncover unique structural and mechanical properties of Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilms grown with calcium. I also used similar techniques to track bacteria in the gut of larval zebrafish in Dr. Raghu Parthasarathy's lab during my REU at the University of Oregon. In my free time, I love going on walks to look for/at birds and bugs, learning (slowly) to crochet, and reading.
