Edmundo Leiva III

Graduate Student
Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics

I was a UAV pilot in the army before attending Stanford university and graduating with a B.S. in bioengineering. During my studies I worked as an undergraduate researcher on flexible neural probes with the goal of rat cerebellar granule cell action potential recording. My research interests are wide reaching as I enjoy most research that has first or second order translational value. In my free time I enjoy wood working, automotive repair, lock picking, and video games.
