I am studying cancer genomics in the Singh Lab. In particular, I am interested in how mutations affect transcription factor proteins, and as a result alter gene regulation and genome stability. I use computational methods to investigate why certain patterns emerge in different types of cancer and what effects they have on the cancer cells. My goal is for this research to help lead to improved cancer therapies and facilitate personalized medicine. My personal interests include global health, composing music, and the Internet.
