Originally from Atlanta, I graduated from Morehouse College with a degree in Computer Science. As a member of the Wieschaus lab, my research focuses on using high-throughput sequencing methods to characterize dosage compensation during early Drosophila development. In addition, I study the male killing effects of Spiroplasma during early embryogenesis.
