Caroline (Cara) Weisman Title Lewis-Sigler Scholar Email [email protected] Bio/Description I received my BA from Harvard in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Philosophy, and my PhD from Harvard in Biophysics. I'm interested broadly in the evolution of novelty and the molecular mechanisms underlying it. Most of my work so far has focused on genes that appear specific to evolutionarily young groups of organisms and that have therefore been commonly regarded as novel. I'm now continuing to work on potentially novel genes and branching out into other areas. Google Scholar LSI Research Lab Akey Research Lab Ayroles Research Lab
