Oct. 20, 2021 The ability to edit the genome by altering the DNA sequence inside a living cell is powerful for research and holds promise for the treatment of diseases. A new study that sharpens our understanding of CRISPR gene-editing was published online in Cell on October 20, 2021. The study was led by Princeton assistant professor Britt Adamson in the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics and the Dept. of Molecular Biology.
