In the spirit of Schrodinger's approach to the age-old question of "What is Life?", I am interested in uncovering the physical principles by which we may distill the complexity in biological systems. I am excited by the possibility of rigorous theoretical treatment in areas such as information processing, self-assembly, and signaling. I received a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech and Cornell University, respectively. Beyond science, I like to stay physically active, use the arts as a creative outlet, and eat too many sweets.
