I completed my B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. At Penn, I studied the phase behavior of intrinsically disordered proteins by making various perturbations to the intrinsically disordered N-terminal domain of LAF-1, a P granule protein found in C. elegans. I am interested in gaining a quantitative understanding of how cell fate decisions are made in real time during embryonic development. During my free time, I enjoy running, traveling and trying new restaurants.
