I am broadly interested in using mechanistic models to better understand microbial communities. I completed my undergraduate degree in chemical engineering at Arizona State University. In my undergraduate research, I used modeling to characterize methanogen and methanotroph communities in various environments. In my free time, I enjoy good science fiction books and bad action movies.
